Who are we?

Woodand Sauna is a family owned business based out of Wooster, Ohio. Grandpa installed a sauna in 1994 and is still going strong today. This is how our love for sauna began. We handcraft our barrel saunas with Western Red Cedar. This species of wood provides the rich cedar smell that comes to mind when you think sauna. We now have locations in Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, and Kentucky. When purchasing a sauna in today’s market, most companies will send your sauna in a kit requiring countless hours of assembly. Our product is delivered fully built and placed where you need it. We believe this gives us an edge in build quality and performance.

What we do

Our primary product is our handcrafted barrel saunas. However, we also carry a variety of cube saunas, cold plunges, outdoor showers and more. We build custom saunas as well including indoor spaces. Our cedar wood is sourced in the United States. It is milled at a local lumber company in our community. It is then built by hand at our facility. We offer a variety of sauna heaters to our customers including electric, wood fired, natural gas, and propane. We also help Airbnb and vacation rental owners stage their properties with our amenities.
